Abbeyside was founded in 2016 by its Directors Niall Howell and Richard Field. The company was established following on from a previous joint venture success story that began in Ireland over 20 years ago.
Niall Howell’s experience spans across all aspects of the industry including major infrastructure, residential and commercial sectors. After the fundamental and practical aspects of each sector were established, Niall went on to excel in Project Management, Site Management and Operations.
Richard Field has worked at the forefront of the industry working for Tier 1 Builders in Estimating and Project Management roles throughout Australia and New Zealand. Richard has also worked in South Africa and North America as a Quantity Surveyor and Construction Manager.
Abbeyside has grown its clientele rapidly since 2016 with a high level of satisfaction for those who have requested their services through excellent man management, communication and high quality finishes.
Abbeyside is an established business based in NSW with national partnerships. The companies hold a combined experience of 40 years in the construction industry fulfilling the needs of clients across a diverse scope within the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

All members of staff at Abbeyside Carpentry & Joinery quickly develop a sense of professional pride in their work, skills, attitudes and in their own abilities due to the quality, dependability and integrity our company offers.
We have a compliant WHSE safety management system in place, which is regularly updated and reviewed. We ensure site-specific plans and safe work method statements are prepared and issued to each site before any of our work commences.
All site teams hold daily toolbox talks and follow-up meetings to discuss the project and how the jobs can be done more effectively and safely. On every project we will have a site supervisor who is trained in first aid.
They hold a valid ticket for any lifts or machinery required to complete the works in a safe manner while following the WHSE guidelines.
